Dr. Bish understands that hearing aids are expensive and the best and most successful patients are informed patients.  Not every hearing aid is designed to fit every hearing loss.  Before you purchase hearing aids, you need to determine what type of hearing loss you may or may not have.  After you determine your hearing loss, you need to then analyze your lifestyle, how visible you want the hearing aid to be, and lastly your budget.  It is not just pointing to a newspaper advertisement and saying "I'll take that set – it’s the cheapest." We have the honor of receiving most of our new patients through a referral from their primary care physician. We don't look at every patient like a hearing aid retailer and wonder how expensive of a hearing aid we can sell you. For that reason, you don't see large advertisements from us week in and week out in the Post & Courier offering rock bottom prices on hearing aids that only fit a small percentage of hearing loss patients.  We actually keep copies of the most misleading offers in our waiting room.  In some practices, hearing aids can cost as much as $7000.00 per device.  In our office, we strive to provide treatment to every patient, limiting the majority of our hearing aid pricing between $900 and $3300.00 per device.  We are able to keep our pricing under control because we are a diverse office, offering not just hearing aid services, but diagnostic services for speech and hearing to adults and pediatrics.
